Small Cells
What are Small Cells?

Small cells are low-powered radio access nodes that operate in licensed and unlicensed spectrum that have a range of 10 meters to 1 or 2 kilometers, compared to a mobile macro-cells which might have a range of a few tens of kilometers.  As the data rate consumption increases the most efficient way to deal with higher bandwidth requirements and allocation is by using small cells that can intelligently allocate radio spectrum.

Many operators today see small cells as the vital component in managing LTE-Advanced spectrum and reaching to data rates that are 1000x of today’s rates.

Why are we interested in Small Cells?

Our interest primarily is focused on delivering complete small cell solutions for clients that are interested in deploying small cells for M2M / IoT or other applications.
